Gotoh® 510 tremolo
A Gotoh Custom 510 tremolo bridge is a premium and comfortable two-point tremolo that can flutter like a standard floating locking bridge. It is recessed in the body, creating lower string-height action on the fingerboard for comfortable fretting.
Seymour Duncan® Pickups
Routed for an SSS configuration, our DK22 combines a Seymour Duncan® Custom Hot Rails® Strat® SHR-1B humbucking bridge pickup, Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 single-coil middle pickup and Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 RWRP single-coil neck pickup.
No-Load Tone Control
The tone control employs a "no-load" design that operates like a standard tone control from positions one through nine, but then bypasses the entire tone circuit when at 10 for the brightest possible guitar tone.
Low Friction Volume Control
The 500K EVH® Bourns® low friction potentiometer is very touch sensitive and allows for smooth volume swells.
5-Way Blade
This five-way “super” blade switch grants you a level of control and personalization between the pickup configurations not possible with traditional blade switches.
12"-16" Compound Radius Fingerboard
With the innovative 12"-16" compound radius design, the caramelized maple fingerboard gradually flattens toward the heel from its more rounded profile at the nut. This makes for comfortable and natural-feeling chording and riffing near the nut, with optimal shred articulation and bending nearer the heel.
Back Features
Unique Charvel Back Neck Shape
Charvel neck shapes are slimmer and narrower than traditional guitar necks with comfortable rolled fingerboard edges, optimized for high performance.
Bolt-On Neck with Graphite Reinforcement
The bolt-on neck has a pair of graphite-reinforcement rods to resist bending and warping under environmental stresses.
Scalloped Lower Back Bout
A deep, scalloped lower back bout allows for comfortable, unencumbered upper fret access.
